houses a superb restaurant. Bungay - The nearest market town to Swallows Nest and a favourite haunt for antique and bargain hunters. School Farm Antiques and No. 30 are well worth a visit where you'll see some friendly and recognisable faces! Southwold - Although famous for it's beach huts and the amazing prices that some are willing to pay for them, this beautiful seaside resort has many excellent galleries, craft shops and restaurants as well as a renowned beach and recently completed pier. Beccles - Six miles from Bungay and a different style of Market town. The choice of bigger supermarkets, shops, pubs and restaurants are all to be found. Also the quay with boats and the famous Norfolk Broads is worth a visit. Halesworth - Worth a visit to The Cut Arts Centre and Halesworth Gallery (housed in a stunning medieval alms house building). This small town has a charming selection of local shops and an excellent restaurant in the Angel. Norwich - About 45 mins away from Swallows Nest lies Norwich. Typically understated with its title 'A Fine City' this regional capital features not one but two Cathedrals, dozens of churches, scores of restaurants, hundreds of shops and probably even more coffee bars! The Castle building houses the Museum and the regional Tate Gallery collection. If this doesn't whet your artistic appetite 'The Sainsbury Centre' to the north of the city is home to many exhibitions. Less intellectual possibly, but with so many nightclubs to chose from a night out in Norwich can leave you exhausted.
